You can feel the tension and fear from his voice as Hanumanji Gurjjar cautiously answers the mobile phone. There is no violence in his Bhalpur village in Dausa district but for the last 48 hours, the small village has been surrounded by the powerful Meena community — more than 5,000 of them — who have blocked the approach road.
