Washington/Brussels: European policy-makers urged the US Senate on Wednesday to approve the revised $700-billion financial rescue plan aimed at tackling the worst financial crisis since the 1930s.
The US law-makers were expected to vote on the recently modified bailout package by 5am IST, and debate on the same had already commenced in the US Senate at the time of going to press.
