There were two endearing aspects of Krishnamachari Srikkanth’s cricket. First, he seldom curbed his natural instincts with the bat and the other, switching off and rambling towards square-leg between deliveries, humming to himself.
Much like the present day Virender Sehwag, the bowler or the opposition hardly mattered to Srikkanth as he whacked them in two shakes of a duck’s tail.
