MUMBAI: When 25-year-old police constable Alka Gaikwad took a few swigs from a water bottle placed at the baggage screening counter at Mantralaya, she had no clue what fate and the bottle had in store.
It turned out that the innocuous looking mineral water bottle contained poison. The constable immediately began vomiting and was admitted to GT Hospital where she breathed her last on Tuesday morni
