LUCKNOW: A rape accused, who escaped after agreeing to marry the victim and was arrested later, has been granted parole by the high court to tie the knot.
The high court granted parole to Ashok after he moved an application reiterating his decision to marry the victim, who is said to have given her consent for the marriage.
Justice S S Chauhan yesterday gave parole to rapist Ashok till January 1
