Blast in Malegaon; riot in Thane

Mumbai: Curfew was imposed in some parts of Malegaon, a communally sensitive town in Nashik district, on Monday night after a mob that was agitated by a mysterious blast assaulted a senior police officer and his bodyguard.
Meanwhile in Thane, police opened fire in the air at Rabodi to end communal clashes.
