At least 50 people were killed and about 150 others injured in a major stampede in the Chamunda Devi temple in Jodhpur at the start of Navaratra festival on Tuesday.
The stampede at the temple in a hillock in the famous Jodhpur Fort followed collapse of a wall near the shrine.
At least 50 people have been killed in the stampede, Divisional Commissioner Kiran Soni Gupta told PTI.
