HUBLI: It was almost 10.30 p.m. on Friday when all those who had gathered near the underpass on Pune-Bangalore National Highway near Venkatapur village in Dharwad taluk heaved a sigh of relief as a six-member bomb disposal squad, which arrived from Bangalore, defused the live bomb found there.
Since 8.30 p.m., the time the squad reached the site (18 km from Dharwad) where the live bomb was found,
