Allanganallur: A wave of relief swept across the expectant crowds in Allanganallur, a small town in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai district yesterday, as news filtered in that the Supreme Court has allowed ‘Jallikattu’, the traditional sport of bull-runs held during the Pongal festival.
