India has pledged more than 8 million US Dollers for the various developmental and humanitarian activities of the United Nations.
United Nation Development programme (UNDP), the world body's nodal agency for developmental activities, gets the biggest slice of the pledge, USD 4.5 million. The World Food Programme responsible for feeding millions across the world, is pledged USD 1.92 million
