DoT receives 300 applications for telecom licences

Following the closure of applications for new telecom licenses, the government received about 300 applications from 30 companies for starting telecom services. The Communications and IT Minister A Raja said the business offered great potential and hence numerous companies had rushed to acquire telecom licenses.
