Kumaraswamy offers to quit

The Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has stated that he will be stepping down on October 3 on the basis of a power-sharing accord with ally BJP. He also said that several legislators were in favour of his continuing as Chief Minister till JD(S)-BJP resolved the power transfer issue.
