The former Indian President A P J Abdul Kalam proposed a 'World Space Council' to make thw world 'a clean and happy place to live for the whole of humanity' by circa 2050. Dr Kalam unveiled his 'World Space Vision-2050' at the 58th International Astronautical Congress-2007 in Hyderabad.
