In a surprising development, real estate companies seeing to be making a beeline for acquiring licenses for offering telecom services across the country. Initially realty cos such as Unitech and Parsvnath put their applications before the Department of Telecom. Now it is the turn of Indiabulls, which will be shortly joined by DLF Ltd in seeking to make inroads into the telecom services sector.
