The death of Jatin Sarkar, a key witness in the Nithari murder trial and father of victim Pinky Sarkar will affect the chances of determining the extent of Moninder Singh Pandher’s involvement in the serial killings. According to Sarkar's wife, Pandher had paid them Rs 5 lakh to keep quiet followin the lodging of a complaint by them with the Ghaziabad police.
