Mobile phone explodes at Asansol!

A mobile phone battery exploded while being charged at a telecom outlet in Asansol in Kolkata, however no one was hurt in the incident. The owner of the phone claimed that his phone was damaged beyong repair. The battery used in the handset belonged to the BL-5C series which was recently in the news due to certan manufacturing defects.
