Court upholds Salman Khan jail term : Poaching case

A court in Jodhpur has rejected an appeal against Salman Khan's conviction in a chinkara poaching case and has upholded the five-year jail term awarded to him by a lower court. The District and Sessions Judge Kamal Raj Singhvi pronounced the verdict before a packed court room in which the Bollywood superstar was conspicious by his absence.
