Two charged with plane hijacking : Turkey

An Egyptian with alleged ties to Al-Qaeda and his Turkish accomplice have been charged by a Turkish court in connection with hijacking a plane carrying more than 140 people. Momen Abdul Aziz Talikh an Egyptian passport-holder of Palestinian origin and Mehmet Rest Ozlu were sent to the local prison pending trial.
