PSU oil officers call off strike

Following the Petroleum Ministry's acceptance of the demand for an interim relief of Rs 60,000-1,20,000 per employee for the period from January 1, 2007, the officers of public sector oil firms have called off their indefinite strike within hours of going on agitation to press for higher wages.
