'Endeavour hit by flaking insulation on blastoff' : NASA

A NASA official said that the spacecraft Endeavour may have been hit by three small pieces of insulation material from its external fuel tank during takeoff, however not much damage has been caused. The official added that he was 'very confident' that no serious damage was caused to the spacecraft as none of the particles were large enough.
