Vice-Presidential polls: Voting commences

The voting for the vice-presidential elections began at 10am on Friday in order to choose a successor to Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, who quit following his loss at the Presidential election.The United Progressive Alliance-Left candidate Hamid Ansari seems to be the favourite to be the new Vice-President.
