Former militant shot dead : Assam

A former militant-turned-businessman from the Tinsukia district of Upper Assam was shot dead by suspected militants of the banned United Liberation Front of Asom. The killing highlights the plight of most of the surrendered militants who live in fear of retribution from the ULFA.
