Seoul seek US help to solve hostage crisis

South Korea has sought the help of the US to help negotiate the release of 21 South Korean hostages held by the Taliban. A South Korean delegation from four major political parties has embarked on a diplomatic mission for the United States in an attempt to persuade the Americans to make an exception to its policy of refusing concessions to terrorist demands.
