India's first woman IPS officer Kiran Bedi, who had gone on a three-month 'protest' leave on July 25, wil resume duty on Friday. Bedi, who was furious at being sidelined for the job of the Delhi police chief, decided to go on a 'protest' leave, after the government cleared the appointment of Y S Dadwal who is two years junior to her in service.
