'Gender bias in top appointments': Kiran Bedi

India's first woman IPS officer, Kiran Bedi, who expressed her displeasure at being sidelined for the job of the Delhi police chief, complained that there was a gender bias in appointments to top posts. In the light of allegations by women's groups, stating that she was a victim of gender bias, Bedi said, : "I have never worked on gender basis" as "I am a police officer who has to work for all."
