Taliban threaten to kill South Korean hostages

The Taliban issued threats that the 23 South Korean hostages would be killed shortly, if their demands were not met. The threats came shortly after negotiations to release the hostages faltered. The Taliban have demanded the release of eight jailed insurgents by the Afghan government.
