The Australian High Commissioner to India, John McCarthy has denied allegations of racism in handling the case of detained Indian doctor Mohammad Haneef. Mcarthy countered charges of human rights violation in the handling of Haneef saying that the Australian govt has simply acted on the basis of the UK govt's request.
