England lose wickets, India curtail English run feast

On the first day of the test, after England won the toss and chose to bat, Andrew Strauss top-scored with 96 as England amassed 268 for 4 against India at the Lord's cricket ground, in London. The best part of the day was dominated by the English batsmen, except toward the close of play, when the Indians clawed their way back into the game, capturing two quick wickets.
