Pratibha may enjoy immunity if elected

According to legal experts, the Presidential candidate, Pratibha Patil, if elected as President, is likely to get away with all the charges of crime and land scams thanks to the immunity offered to the first citizen of the country. In the event that a court verdict goes against her in any of the cases, as the President she cannot be summoned.
