LTTE concedes jungle base to army :Sri Lanka

The LTTE in Sri Lanka admitted to losing possession over the Thoppigala jungle base to the security forces, who now control the vast eastern province.The rebels also claimed to have switched over to guerrilla tactics "some weeks ago" even prior to the attack by the army yesterday.
