The New York Times in its sharpest ever criticism of the Bush administration, has called for setting a date for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq, asserting that the military cannot solve the strife-torn country's problems. It also Washington to work with Iraq's neighbours, including Iran, and the United Nations to resolve the problems facing Iraq.
