Pratibha vs Shekhawat: After scrutiny of papers

The scrutiny of the nomination papers of the Presidential candidates began yesterday and only the papers of UPA candidate Pratibha Patil and NDA-backed independent candidate Bhairon Singh Shekhawat were found valid. All other nomination papers for the July 19, 2007 Presidential election were rejected.
