UK: India hasn't approached us for Gandhi letter

According to the British High Commission, the Indian government has not yet approached them for acquiring a letter written by Mahatma Gandhi that is being auctioned by Christie's in London next.With less than a week to go, before the letter goes under the hammer the Indian government is trying it's best to acquire the letter, however Christie's plans to go ahead with the auction.
