Temasek will not gain control of ICICI Bank: Kamath

ICICI Bank CEO K.V. Kamath said that the ICICI shares will remain widely held and the lender is not likely to have a controlling shareholder such as Singapore state investor Tema-sek. Kamath added that investor talk that Temasek Holdings or the Government of Singapore Investment Corp (GIC) could accumulate a controlling stake in ICICI "is purely speculative".
