Apology sought by Dera Chief

The head of Dera Sacha Sauda, Baba Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, is understood to have sought a fresh apology from the Sikh community. Baba Ram Rahim Singh, who is embroiled in a controversy over his alleged blasphemous act, is believed to have sent a letter to the Sant Samaj, an umbrella organisation of various Sikh bodies.
