Monsoon seen hitting Maharashtra in 24 hrs

India's annual monsoon rains have revived after a lull and are likely to cross into Maharashtra in the next 24 hours, a weather department official said on Friday. The June-September monsoon is vital to the health of India's trillion dollar economy as it determines farm output and subsequent rural demand for a range of products.
