Computer security solution provider, Symantec Corporation said that online financial fraud has risen by 81 % globally in the past six months and is still rising. “India is a key element in the fraud food chain…about 33 websites used for phishing attacks, which involve identity theft, were hosted out of India in 2006,” said the Managing Director of Symantec Corporation Vishal Dhupar.
