A hacker who claims to be based in Sweden, has posted the passwords of 100 email accounts of various embassies and government offices from across the world, including 13 Indian accounts. The accounts mainly contain classified information and correspondence. Some of the Indian organisations include the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

The city police in Hyderabad had announced its biggest catch in counterfeit currency on the day of the serial blasts which rocked the IT hub of India. The police are suspecting a link between the blasts and the fake currency racket. The Leader of Opposition L K Advani’s statement that if the UPA government were to make an amendment to the Atomic Energy Act to protect India’s strategic independence then “there is no problem with the 123 Agreement” has thrown the BJP into a tailspin.
