Gitanjali Gems is planning to buy another leading jewellery retailer having over 100 outlets across the country for around US $100mn. A Mumbai-based boutique investment bank, Keynote is advising the company. The firm is planning to raise capital for its proposed acquisition and domestic expansion and wants to raise US $100mn through a global depository receipt (GDR) issue.
