Amla powder can be added to oil or henna. You can add 10 to 15 gms of amla powder to 100 ml pure coconut oil or sesame seed (til) oil. Put the mixture in a glass jar with a tightly fitting lid and keep it in the sun for 15 days, shaking it daily to stir the amla. Then, strain the oil and keep.
