'Golden Temple' in Tamil Nadu

The Sri Puram Golden Temple - which is one of the biggest Hindu shrines in southern India - was consecrated on Friday in the presence of over 30,000 devotees. Dubbed the 'golden temple', the Sri Puram is located in the backdrop of a small range of hillocks, about 180 km from Chennai. The Hyderabad police have registered a case against Akbaruddin Owaisi, the leader of the Majlis-e-Ittedhadul Muslimeen (MIM) on charges of threatening to kill Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen.
