India beat England 4-3 and won the bronze medal in the Champions Challenge hockey tournament for men on Sunday. After enjoying a 4-0 lead, India allowed England to come back into the match by giving away 3 goals, however they just about managed to maintain their lead and won the game by a narrow margin.

Confirming that hosting of 2010 World Cup hockey tournament in New Delhi in February will be a FIH-Indian Hockey Confederation joint venture, the world body on Thursday said the event would be managed by a governing body of eight persons appointed by them.
