Today was the day when the bail plea of actor Salman Khan was to be heard at the Rajasthan High Court. However, there was a twist to the tale with the Justice G K Vyas -who was to hear the actor's bail plea - asking Salman's advocate to approach another bench. The actor's counsel then approached the bench of Justice H R Pawar, who will hear the case at 2 pm.

Eyewitnesses have provided the police the description of one of the bombers who allegedly planted the bomb at Lumbini park in Hyderabad. The cops are also questioning people who were present at the two sites just before the twin bomb blasts on Saturday evening. They hope to secure sufficient information to prepare a sketch of the victim.

3 South Korean hostages released by Taliban

The Indian government has expressed its readiness to deal with any threat from the Al Qaeda and stated that it's forces are alert to meet any eventuality. Over half of Bangladesh has been inundated due to flooding which have killed 120 people and affected 8 million, while the Bangladeshi government is unable to deal with the situation. The interim government chief Fakhruddin Ahmed has requested the political parties to put asside their differences and lend a helping hand to the relief work.
