Police rule out Orkut's role in Adnan case

Salman Khan to move HC : Poaching Case

Following the Jodhpur court's rejection of an appeal against his conviction in the chinkara poaching case, Salman Khan now faces an arrest warrant. Khan's lawyers will now petition the High Court to grant their client seven days to surrender. According to sources, Khan will surrender after the Raksha Bandhan festival.

Taliban to free two S Koreans

The Taliban have claimed that they will hand over two South Korean women - currently held captive in Afghanistan - to the Red Cross on Monday at 1130 GMT. The release of the two women who are currently in ill health would a "goodwill gesture" to prove the integrity of the Taliban following the discussions with a South Korean delegation.

Man set afire due to land dispute

A scheduled caste man, Khilan Ahirwar was allegedly set ablaze by four men at Gyaraspur village near Vidisha. The men poured kerosene on Ahirwar and set him on fire following a land dispute.Although the victim was rushed to hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

Pakistan to release Indian prisoners
