Yakub Memon, upon being sentenced to death, in the 1993 Mumbai Blasts case, pointed to the Judge and said : "Forgive them Lord for they don't know what they do." Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was watching the proceedings, will be sentenced on July 31.

93 Serial Blasts: Yakub gets death sentence

The sentencing of the Memon family, also known as the 'first family' of the blasts took place on Friday. Yakub Memon has been sentenced to death for his role in the serial blasts, while the other three members - Essa, Yusuf and Rubeena – were handed out life imprisonments owing to their failing health.

10 killed in rocket attack in NW Province : Pakistan

Rockets fired by militants in a city in the North west Frontier Province of Pakistan kileld 10 people and injured at least 35. The rockets hit two houses, a mosque and a shop and the injured include 5 police officers.

'Haneef could sue Australian Govt if cleared' : Lawyer

Haneef Mohammed's lawyer has said that said the wording of the charge against their client should be changed to address "technical inaccuracies". The lawyer also added that Haneef could sue the Australian government for a million dollars, for wrongful arrest and imprisonment, if he's cleared of recklessly supporting terrorism.

Air-India building bomber to be sentenced

Farooq Pawale, who is convicted of planting explosives at the Air India Building and Lucky petrol pump near Sena Bhavan at Dadar will be sentenced on Wednesday by the designated TADA court in the 93 Mumbai serial blasts case. Pawale, is held guilty on all 23 charges framed against him, including causing the death of 24 people in the two blasts.

Army major killed by Jawan in J&K : Frat

An army jawan, Mohan Munda shot dead an officer, Major P Alexander at a forward post in Gurez sector of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. This is yet another instance of fratricide killing, taking place in the national army. The reason for the killing is yet to be known.

Norway's Princess to teach psychic course

Air India-Indian merger hits a roadblock!

Police 'rescue' kidnapped Satyam GM

According to information received from sources in the Hyderabad police, V Satyanaryana, the General Manager of Satyam Computers, who was kidnapped on Tuesday has been 'rescued' from Warangal district. The sources have added that at least four people have been arrested in connection to the kidnapping.
