After Graham Ford dealt a major blow to the BCCI by declining its offer to coach Indian cricket team, Sunil Gavaskar said they were ‘back to the square one’ on the matter. The former captain said it was not yet clear what arrangement the BCCI would make for the tour of England, beginning at the end of this month.

The BCCI is now wondering why Ford said yes to the job when he didn't intend to coach Team India in the first place.But sources tell NDTV that the former South African Coach changed his mind only after seeing the way the entire selection process was conducted by the BCCI.Ford wasn't happy with the late start to the meeting and the attitude of the former cricketers in the selection committee.
