Goregaon (east) police on Wednesday arrested Irfan Shaikh, 48, from Hup Mahal at Western Express Highway for alleged extortion and threatening a builder.
On September 25, Kandivili resident Santosh Sarda, 38, registered a complaint at Goregaon (east) police station claiming that Shaikh had demanded Rs1 crore from him. Shaikh also allegedly said that he was a member of Bunty Pandey’s gang.
