A businessmen from Jharkhand, Mahtab Alam has created a shirt as tall as a two-storeyed building. Delayed relief results in clashes in flood-hit regions

The delayed arrival of relief in the flood-hit regions of Bihar led to clashes resulting in the police resorting to lathi charge. A clash erupted at a relief centre in Nalanda district when a group of people demanded 50 litres of kerosene out of turn. In the ensuing clash, six persons were injured.

The absconding 1993 Mumbai blast accused Javed Chikna who is allegedly in Pakistan has been sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment in a drug case by a Pakistani court. Chikna is a close aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, who is wanted by India and the US on many counts.
