School student dies after being assaulted by teacher

Arpit, a 17-year old school student of Udaipur, died after allegedly being beaten by his teacher. The teenager's father has filed an FIR that alleges that his son was badly beaten by the school teacher on July 26 and his death was a result of the assault.

Banks directed to give 15% of lendings to minorities : Chidambaram

'Implement Srikrishna Commission recommendations' : CPI(M)

CBI raid on driver-turned-millionaire indicates a major scam

A CBI raid at the residence of Delhi Assembly canteen-owner and one-time autorickshaw driver Ashok Malhotra, recovered more than 50 cars and 10 motorcycles,all bearing special VIP number plates. According to CBI sources, over 5,000 land documents were also recovered in the raid. The raid indicates a multi-crore scam that could involve politicians.

Blueline bus mows down one person :Delhi

93 Blasts: 3 sentenced to death
