The Delhi high court has summoned the counsel for NCT government and Blueline operators on Monday, following the killing of seven persons by an over-speeding Blueline bus. "It is becoming shocking day by day," a Division Bench of Justice Mukul Mudgal and Reva Khetrapal said about the accident on Sunday involving a Blueline bus.

The M-ajlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) leader and legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi was involved in a road accident, in which he managed to escape unhurt. Owaisi alleged that the accident was an was an attempt by his political rivals to have him killed. In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old man abandoned his severely injured mother after the car in which they were travelling met with an accident. Vijay Dongre tried to pull out his mother -who was trapped- from the car, but was unable to do so. After several attempts, he ran away from the spot, leaving his severely injured mother behind, who was found dead after five hours.

An Indian student lost his life in an accident in the US. The student was walking on a bridge when a SUV jumped a red traffic light, collided with another vehicle and spun unto the sidewalk striking him and throwing him into the river. It was unsure though if he died due to the accident or from drowning.

A five-year-old boy, who fell into a borewell while playing at a village in Shirur taluka of the district on Sunday, died in a hospital after being rescued, official sources said.Sonu Shivaji Deshmukh was trapped at about 20-feet inside the 150-feet narrow borewell since 10.30 am after falling into it.
